Hey guys, As you know I am a massive fan of natural beauty and have been using this treatment a year or so ago when I was suffering with a dry, itchy scalp, dandruff & hair fall. I wanted something natural, no side effects and definitely no chemicals!
So after doing a bit of research I found an easy Ayurvedic remedy using only 2 ingredients; dried Neem leaves & ginger. I found out that Neem is amazing for eliminating any scalp issues such as dandruff and hair loss and ginger is amazing at making the hair grow faster.
Rich in minerals and essential oils, ginger makes hair more manageable, softer and shinier. Besides, ginger is a useful remedy for dandruff and dry, itchy scalp. It contains natural anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties that help keep scalp healthy and clean.
Neem leaf is used to treat the problem of head lice, dandruff, excessive hair fall and to improve hair growth. This mix is so easy to make but is quite messy to apply, so make sure you grab a towel!. You need dried neem leaves & some fresh ginger. If you can’t get hold of fresh ginger then an organic ginger tea bag will do, just as long as the water we are using gets infused with all that ginger goodness.
Giving your scalp a regular treatment, is the key to growing, healthy long and shiny hair and managing any scalp issues you may have. As I mentioned, I love using this remedy to maintain a healthy scalp.
You will need:
Dried need leaves
- Bring a pan of water to boil
- Add ginger and let the water infuse for a few minutes
- Add the dried neem leaves and bring to boil, stirring
- Once the ginger has softened, strain the mix to get gather all the liquid
- Leave to cool & and apply to your scalp!
You have got to try this one guys! I’d love to know your thoughts on it.

Hi my beauties! I hope you are all well, I am back and this time I am bringing you one of my absolute favourite DIY beauty products – a pink Himalayan Salt body scrub. I love making my own homemade beauty products after battling with acne growing up. I like to know exactly what I am using on my skin and am all for the herbal, natural, organic skin care products.
This body scrub is amazing! it leaves your skin so soft and smooth that I really recommend you guys try it out and see for yourself. With the cold weather in full force here in the UK, this body scrub helps to not only moisturise the skin deep down but also exfoliates and remove dead skin cells.
I have made a small quantity in the video, but I think this would make the perfect Christmas gift if packaged nicely. To make a jar of this body scrub you will need:
1 cup of Himalayan Salt
1/2 cup of Coconut oil
1 tbspn Rosehip oil
5 – 10 drops Lavender
A few dried roses for decorating the top in the jar (optional)
I hope you guys like this video, please let me know if you’d like to see more DIY Beauty videos. That’s all for now guys, take care and se you on Sunday in my next video :). x
If you guys know me, you will know that I am obsessed with making my own skincare. Reason being, my super sensitive skin. This toner is 100% natural and organic full of goodness. In today’s video I bring you an easy DIY toner which will not only help your skin fight acne, but also rejuvenate it and help against anti-ageing. With Christmas round the corner, DIY beauty gifts are perfect for friends and loved ones.
I purchased the Rose Water essence and Rosehip oil from a UK based company called Naissance. I order my oils from their website because they offer fast delivery and great prices. Check out there Website here.
My mix contains the following:
1/3 Apple Cider Vinegar (this stuff stinks, but is so so good for fighting acne)
2/3 Rose Water which naturally balances your skin to refresh
5 drops of Rosehip Oil – perfect for delaying the ageing process
I added some dried rose petals to my mix, which is completely optional. I happened to find some in Dubai recently and love anything to do with rose, so added these in.
If you give this this toner a go, you will love it. Let me know whether you have any other natural beauty recipes to try 🙂
