Hi my beauties! I’m back with another monthly favourites and can’t believe how fast this month has gone!
I must admit I haven’t tried many new skin care items this month because I am still loving the same combination I was using in my last monthly favourites which is linked here.
Nip & Fab Glycolic Fix Night Pads
I have however, added the Nip & Fab Glycolic Fix Night Pads to my night time beauty routine and love them. After reading so many positive reviews about these pads, I just had to give them a go. I have quite sensitive skin and haven’t reacted to these pads in any way. I find they help rejuvenate my skin, eliminate any dryness on my skin and leave it really hydrated and plump the next day. These pads contain Glycolic Acid which is amazing for the skin. It removes dead skin cells from the surface and clears any clogged pores and blackheads keeping your skin clear. It also helps to diminish acne scars when used regularly and I highly recommend using Glycolic Acid as part of your skin care routine.
OMG beauties, I think I’ve found the best deal when it comes to false lashes! I bought these lashes from ebay and I kid you not, they are just like the real deal. I personally don’t like wearing really dramatic lashes, so for me these are perfect! For a mere £3.99 you get 5 pairs of lashes which are really good quality and re-useable. You can also get them in a number of styles. These are my favourite from the eBay selection. This pair is a dupe for the Ardell whispies which are my favourite lashes. They are so comfortable to wear and the lash band isn’t thick at all. I have been through loads of these ebay lashes. I am thinking of making a video on my favourite ebay lashes, so let me know in the comments below if you’d like to see that one.
NYX Contour & Highlight Palette
If you know me you’ll know that I love to do the whole contour and highlight jazz with my makeup so this palette has been a staple in my makeup routine for ages now! I know it has been out for a while but I can’t stop using it. I seriously can’t remember life before this palette! It is amazing. It’s super pigmented and the smallest amount goes a long way. Not only is the price amazing, but the contour shades are perfect for any skin tone. The highlighter and setting powders are pretty decent too and for this reason the palette has been away with me on many occasions because I love it so much.
Makeup Revolution Luxury Powder
As usual my loves, I am probably late in discovering this amazing setting powder from Makeup Revolution. I seriously can’t stop raving about it. It’s so beautiful at giving you that flawless finish that isn’t cakey at all and for only £5! I wonder why I hadn’t discovered this powder sooner. Its a yellow toned powder and a dupe for the Ben Nye Banana Powder which the Kardashians were known for using. I have to say this powder is so light weight and brightening that it’s literally all I have been using in place of my Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder this month. It’s particularly good if you have a warmer, olive skin tone as the yellow really brightens the areas you apply concealer to. I love this so much and will definitely be continuing to use it as the months go on. Have you tried it? What do you think?
Barry M Molten Metal Nail Polish in Pink Ice
I had been eyeing up the Molten Metal nail polish range from Barry M for a while but I couldn’t see a colour that I really liked. I thought the ones I saw were very bronze or gold toned and I didn’t think I’d like the look of that on my nails. Until I found this colour called Pink Ice. I’m not sure if this is a new addition to the range because I have never seen it before, but its such a beautiful champagne pink chrome colour. I have literally been wearing this colour non stop this month and I love the finish. It’s not glittery in any way but more so chrome and shiny. Similar to those chrome look nails all over Instagram. I wouldn’t say this nail polish lasts chip free for ages, its standard but I love it non the less and it only costs £3.99!
Sleek Matte Me Liquid Lipstick in Birthday Suit
Ok my loves, I am probably slow to discover this one but I have found the most beautiful, perfect lip colour which is an amazing price too! I generally love to mix my lipsticks to achieve that perfect nude pink shade. But with this liquid lipstick, I don’t need to mix any. It’s the perfect nude lip shade for me and it’s a really comfortable liquid lipstick. I am not a big fan of liquid lipsticks, especially high street ones as I find then so drying and uncomfortable. This one from Sleek is not like that at all. It goes on beautifully, dries to a beautiful matte nude shade and is comfortable to wear all day long. I’ve been wearing this liquid lipstick a lot this month. If you have tried this lipstick from Sleek, what do you think?
